How We Can Help

Entity Formation

New business ventures are exciting but a decision on what type of entity to be can have a big impact on how your business runs. Trust that you have an attorney on your side who will pay attention to the details from the outset. We help our clients form their entity, handle any necessary filings, draft organizational documents and serve as registered agents. We offer flat fee packages to help you get your business up and running.

Contracts

A contract is crucial and important to businesses and individuals alike and cover a variety of subjects and purposes. A good contract expresses the fundamental terms of the agreement which allows each party to the contract to realize the benefits it bargained for while allocating the risk between the parties. A bad contract can lead to a whole host of issues and headaches, and worse, costly litigation. We help our clients draft new contracts, create template agreements, review and negotiate proposed contracts, or analyze how to get out of a contract to protect your business going forward.

Intellectual Property

Intellectual property is the general term for a variety of types of intangibles that are subject to ownership and other rights under federal and state laws in the United States and around the world. Trademarks, copyrights, patents and trade secrets are all types of intellectual property available for protection. We work with our clients on identification of and creation of intellectual property protection strategies. We help our clients clear and apply for the appropriate protections for their valuable intellectual property assets. We also assist our clients in monitoring and policing their intellectual property so the value in their intellectual property remains and grows.

Litigation

Disputes happen. Deals are broken. Sometimes, filing a lawsuit is the only path forward. Litigation can be an expensive and drawn-out process, but we work tirelessly to aggressively advocate for our clients while remaining pragmatic and realistic with the dispute at hand. No two disputes are the same and you want an attorney who will craft the strategy that is right for you.

Mediation & Arbitration

When a dispute arises and direct negotiation has failed, many parties consider mediation as a superior alternative to avoiding litigation at the outset of a dispute or attending mediation during the pendency of a lawsuit, either voluntarily or as ordered by the court. As a mediator, Abby Salzer helps parties reach mutually acceptable resolutions rather than lengthy and costly court battles. Parties also often consider private arbitration to resolve disputes rather than the court system. Abby Salzer has represented countless of clients in arbitration and also serves as a FINRA Arbitrator.

General Counsel Services

Small businesses need a variety of legal services that change by the day. We offer outside general counsel services so that our clients can rely on us to handle the legal issue that may pop up for the day. This includes process and policy creation, employment law, risk management, compliance, dissolution, and much more. We offer flexible arrangements depending on your business's needs and are happy to craft a package that meets your needs and budget.
